The experience
Overview
Mtende is the beach locals keep to themselves — a small cove tucked between limestone cliffs on the southeast coast, reached by a path through the rocks.
At high tide you can swing from the rope into the sea, swim in the clear water and eat grilled fish at the tiny local cafe above the cove.
