Overview
Changuu — known as Prison Island — was built as a prison but never used as one. Today it is a sanctuary for giant Aldabra tortoises, some over a hundred years old.
You feed and walk among the tortoises, visit the old quarantine buildings, and snorkel on the small reef off the island's beach.

Pickup and a 25-minute boat ride to Changuu.

Walk the island with a guide, feed the tortoises and visit the old buildings.

Boat back to Stone Town and transfer to your hotel.
